Fenwal Detector 12-G27121-000-450F
The Fenwal 12-G27121-000-450F is a rate-compensated thermal (heat) fire detector from the Detect-A-Fire® series. It is designed for industrial fire protection, activating fire alarms or suppression systems when ambient temperature reaches 450°F (232°C) .
Rate-Compensated Design – Accurately senses air temperature regardless of fire growth rate, reducing false alarms common with standard rate-of-rise detectors
Normally Open (NO) Contacts – Closes on temperature rise to activate alarms or extinguishing systems
Vertical Mount – Designed for vertical installation
Explosion-Proof Rating – Suitable for hazardous locations: Class I, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G (when mounted in approved junction box)
Hermetically Sealed – Factory set, self-restoring stainless steel element for durability
Approvals – UL, cUL, and FM listed
